Pescatoria dayana Rchb. f., Gard. Chron. 1618. 1872.

TYPE: New Grenada. It has just flowered (end of November) in the celebrated Dayan collection, and is dedicated to my excellent correspondent. I have a strong suspicion that it comes from New Grenada, I having just the same flowers in spirits gathered by Mr. Wallis in that country (holotype, W).
